佐藤栄作 受賞論文集

第27回優秀賞people, there are apprehensions that millions of rupees can be eaten up by somefake organizations”. The fear is genuine to some extent as the government lacks amechanism to monitor fund collection by private organizations. Moreover, it is alsofound that, in such relief operations such as heavy flood situations, the local authoritiesbelieve that, there was no mechanism to check fake NGOs. They feared that anyaction by the government against them might affect relief work and discouragegenuine bodies. Some view that NGOs are increasingly focusing on divide and ruleto distract the local genuine supporters. This gives a surprise shock to all of us: Isinternational NGOs are making any genuine contributions towards objectives of UN?4.Distortions and Jumping to ConclusionsNGOs are failed to recognize that there are limits in the way they justify theirclaims. If any NGOs take up an issue in an international level, leaving nationalinterests, does it prove that they are right? But this is the scenario in the recentyears For example; an issue in country A may not be enjoyed by some INGO X.Then they take up this issue to country B, where country A and B already has somemisunderstandings. In this case, INGO X is naturally gain attention, by followingdivide and rule principle. Also gain a status of decision making body in internationallevel. Moreover, they will also gain easy access to UN, where UN may obtain reportsand documentaries with distorted reports. The questions are why INGO's are largelyact as decision making bodies rather than bodies of empowering people in grass-rootlevels? Moreover, NGOs voices are not structured or systematic in any manner. Eventheir voices are not democratically heard, and not-agreed by the large civil society, where they represent. But they find it easy to access the global bodies such as UN.901
