NPT review conferences are gradually engaging all the concerned parties tocommit themselves to lead by example on the front of abandonment of nuclearweapons. Evolution of international treaties to ban certain aspects of weaponisation iscommendable but unless and until this concludes in definitive reversal of the politicalsanction and liquefying strategic build up of nuclear weapons with delivery systems,world will not be more safer. This essay tries to investigate the efforts made in thedirection of eradication of nuclear weapons in the context of conscious attempt toknow what the driving points of nuclear weaponisation are. In the world which istormented by terrorism, economic crisis and climate change nuclear weaponisationhas heightened the instability and insecurity. My attempt will be to understand howthese urgencies are addressed in the evolving institutional frameworks which areestablished and dedicated for permanent eradication of nuclear weapons from thisearth. In short this essay believes that achieving disarmament by war and democracyby occupation is difficult, and that we must resume our efforts to revive disarmamentthrough cooperative actions and negotiations.814
