However, armament issues have beenincreasing which is a legacy of the Cold War in the post-Cold War era, becausesecurity alliances disappeared when the Soviet Union ended.日野原由佳Since the Cold War, armament concerns are connected to not only the missileissue but also the nuclear bomb. The nuclear bomb was invented during WWII, andit might be labelled the worst human invention in the whole of human history. TheUnited Nations (UN) was established after the World War II (WWII), so each of themhave almost same amount of history. The UN, which is as an integrated organisation,whose aim was to create and maintain peace. The nuclear weapon itself has led otherstates to turn their attention towards armament. The Disarmament and InternationalSecurity (DISEC) in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) attempted nonproliferationof nuclear weapons. In fact, there are several treaties like the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Treaty (NPT) and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban-Treaty (CTBT) that aim to eliminate nuclear weapons in the world. Moreover, the UNcreated the supervisor for the nuclear energy that is the International Atomic EnergyAgency (IAEA). Although, it seems that none of these organisations and treaties weresuccessful.
