This will include“working towardsmultilateral control over the sensitive parts of the nuclear fuel cycle?enrichment,reprocessing, and the management and disposal of spent fuel.”In recent times manyeffort were made to flag the serious thinking about nuclear weapon free world. StudyGroup of the International Network of Engineers and Scientists against Proliferation(INESAP) came up with it's report in 1995 NPT review committee throwing lighton transformation of traditional non-proliferation regime. In the same year, CanberraCommission on the Elimination of Nuclear Weapons emerged with fresh ideas focusedon desirability and feasibility of nuclear weapon free world. In 1996 in response torequest from UNGA, International Court of Justice outlawed use of nuclear weaponsas against humanity reiterating the obligation of nuclear weapon states in negotiatingtreaty in the direction of disarmament.In 1997 in another response to UNGA, Lawyers' Committee on Nuclear Policydrafted a‘Model Nuclear Weapons Convention.’Convention called for a ban on thedevelopment, testing, production, stockpiling, transfer, use and threat of use of nuclearweapons and outlined measures for declaration, de-alerting, demobilization, disablingand disassembling of existing weapons. Under a very significant initiative in 1998,countries of New Zealand, Brazil, Egypt, Ireland, Mexico, Slovenia, South Africa andSweden decided to pool their intellectual and physical resources to contribute towardsthe cause of nuclear weapons free world. The group of these countries is hence called‘New Agenda Coalition' because they presented new, detailed roadmap to furtherthe hope of disarmament. Formation of this Coalition influenced the working of 2000NPT Review Meeting which comprehensively suggested five original nuclear weaponmembers to de-alert and remove nuclear weapons from delivery vehicles and to819
