（3）MapsThe maps in the Palestinian textbooks show that Israel does not exist. In place ofIsrael, Palestine is written and the Arab names of the cities and towns are used. TheIsraeli policy of giving Hebrew names to cities and towns is called‘Judaisation’11 in thetextbooks. Also, the capital of Palestine is Jerusalem.The Palestinian Authority education policy which denies the presence of Israeland the Jewish settlements, which are not officially approved by the internationalsociety, dominates in the school textbooks.
